Same ,, I here this word and all that comes to mind is how so often certain parties in the world want everyone to be the same. To be treated the same, to have the same needs and wants and ways of expressing themselves.
What a NORMAL thing that is.
It's easy to have things the same, to know that a person will act a certain way given a certain stimulus. That we should all be treated the same way, that the same work would garner the same pay. That all people could get the same position if they have the same education.
It's so normal to want all things to be fair. For them to be the same across the board.
But man.. wouldn't that be BORING?
Think of the all the variety that we have in life.
How boys are different than girls....but not always. How girls are different than boys... but not always. How one person takes their education goes MILES with it, and others receive the same education and just pick a job and stick with it. And yet others get the same education and basically toss it out the window as they take a completely different career path.
When I was in my early 20's I wanted to be out on the mission field, so did a couple friends of mine. They went. I did not. Our paths went in different directions, but we all still know each other and care for each other. Was it fair? We all wanted the same thing, but they pushed through and achieved the end they wanted, while I turned to other avenues.
Same is okay.
Different is good.
Both work well don't you think?
There is NOTHING new under the sun the bible tells us.
So life and those living it is always the same, but the differences come in watching the individual people playing out their roles in the world. God ordained it to be so.
Shall we not celebrate the differences within our sameness?
