I looked at what I had in the cupboard and found a recipe that used what I had. I found this Honey Garlic Ribs recipes on all-recipes.com.
Step One. Turn oven on to preheat to 375
Step Two: Cut approx 4 lbs of ribs into individual sections. My poultry shears worked great for this.
- 1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Here's the neat part.
Add one tsp of Baking Soda.
It gets all bubbling and it was just neat to watch. :) I know it's cause the soda reacts with the vinegar but it's still neat to watch.
Then mix that with the ribs. Stir until well coated.
The recipe calls for lining a baking sheet in foil and putting the ribs on that in a single layer and then pouring the sauce over top. That sounded like 1. way too much work and 2. very messy
So I opted to put into a casserole dish.
Remove. Let set a spell so not too hot to eat.
Serve up.
