Educeri was created by John Hollingsworth and Dr. Silvia Ybarra, owners of DataWORKS Educational Research. They have been providing teachers with lessons since 1997. You will find over 1100 helpful lessons to assist you in your schooling. packaged in a slide show format.
How We Used It
Each page being labeled so you know just what will be expected of you from learning the objectives to applying what you have learned. I found the the main information was included on each page with a good conclusion offered at the close of the lesson.
In presentation mode, all answers are provided. They are written in red. With where the information comes from being highlighted to aid in the retention of information.
The Ready to use lessons for k-12 that I checked out also had a PDF file. This enables you to send that file to your students to be filled out, or to be printed off. (an example shown below)
I found the lessons quite comprehensive, I liked how they made sure to repeat the most important information AND made in relevant in the life of my student. I find it is so important to make lessons relevant.
If you have a student who doesn't like to read, or needs help with comprehension, sitting with them would be helpful. These Lesson plans are developed with the teacher in mind.
I love the slides, and the ease of being able to flip back to a slide for review purposes, or flip forward if you understand the concept already.
