We were well taught about Paul's life as a teacher of the gospel of Christ, well versed into his life before he knew God and helped to understand the anger some of the Jews held toward him.
Maps, copious amount of pictures, snippets of information scattered through the book. A time line at the end along with a vocabulary list.
The chapters (12 in all) which means this book is easily read in 12 days.
- A boy named Saul
- A Hebrew of Hebrews
- Destroy the church!
- The road to damascus
- Preaching in the synagogues
- Christians: the followers of Christ
- The first missionary journey
- The second missionary journey
- The third missionary journey
- Appeal to Caesar
- From Paul to Rome.
Well written and illustrated, the only quibble I had was with calling the main character Paul throughout the book. He was Saul for a good portion of his life. But it means it would be less confusing for children to leave his name as Paul throughout the book. :)
