Victoria Bylan also introduces us to FASD. This is a syndrome that affects countless children worldwide that is TOTALLY preventable.
This syndrome is near and dear to my heart as I have a niece who struggles with the affects of it. I appreciated that in the book the girl's father took equal responsibility for his daughter's condition, as he was the one to buy the drinks and encourage his daughter's mom to drink with him while she was pregnant.
Just don't do it folks, don't drink when you are pregnant, it's not worth it for your children.
Anyways, back to the book. :) It's a good easy read. Guy meets girl, has a connection, girl likes guy but doesn't want to due to fundamental belief differences.Girls' father steps in to help boy understand that he needs to change his mindset if he really wants to win the girl. A crisis! A resolution!
Good book with a good ending AND no sex. YEAH!!!! It's everything you want in a romance book without the parts you want to skip over (or at least "I" want to skip over.
