We'll hop from word to word.
We read ALOT Of books in our household. Frequently when I read I have toy mice peering over my shoulders or I'll have an angry bird dive bombing me. Sometimes a paper airplane will come zooming over head, and I'll catch it and send it off with.. "tell me quick boy.... what just happened with Laura?" and he'll jump to catch it telling that Laura just scared Nellie with leeches on her feet. He listens, he learns, and he takes a break from playing when it's his turn to help me read something. It works.
So what do you do on the days when YOUR child can't sit still?
This post will part of the blog cruise "teaching the wiggly child". It will go live on November 5th.
