Today I made two ladies laugh.
I travelled about 3.5 hours to sell bunnies and then to purchase bunnies. Wanting new stock for my rabbitry.
On the way I got a couple of phone calls from them, wanting to check on where I was.
I told one lady (when I was about 20 minutes from her house) that I was on the corner of 1 and 12... and she was like HUH???? Where are you??? I said that's what the GPS was telling me... and she guffawed! She had to ask her hubby where he thought I was and then proceeded to tell me how to get to her place.
When I arrived she was still laughing....
Seems she called her friend (whose place I would be going to next) and they had a good laugh about it.
When I finally got to her friends house, after oohing and ahhing over her sweetie pie bunnies... Her friend chuckled, and then confirmed where I came from and then laughed again as they had guessed I came from about an hour from where they live.
So how does this all tie together with the word follow?
It was really hard to find the first lady's house as she had not given me her address. Made it really hard for me to program into the GPS, and ergo I couldn't follow directions.
When I was setting off to the next house, the friend gave me excellent verbal directions on how to get them and said "REMEMBER we have SHARK hill, her road is right on the bottom". And BOY was that a nasty big hill with a quick road on the end... I would have slipped right by it without the encouragement to be careful there.
To follow one needs a direction to go. :)
