1. Learn what the day's word is. Today it is MEET.
2. Write for five minutes. Don't worry on being perfect.
3. Link up.
4. Encourage the person that linked up before you.
It's one of those words that can mean so much.
You know, like when you meet a stranger on the street and you get to talking and before you know it that stranger becomes a friend.
OR you meet a friend at the donut shop and that friend speaks a word of truth into your life and suddenly your life is changed.
Then there are those times when you have meetings that you'd rather not have. Being called on for improper behaviour, meetings where issues of faith are being challenged, bad news given and what not.
Planned or not, positive or not, to meet is what people do.
It's part of the glue that holds us together.
I have to smile as I write this as outside my window I hear our toads calling to each other as they want to meet "their special someone" this spring season. Perhaps in the morning we'll have more toad eggs floating in our pond.
Toads singing, people meeting... it's all a way to keep things coming together isn't it?
