Our country, our parliament. By focusing on Canada’s Parliament, Our Country, Our Parliament introduces students to basic principles of democracy in Canada.
Our Country, Our Parliament is intended for students of English and French at an intermediate level who may or may not know about democracy or Canada’s parliamentary system of government. Teachers can easily adapt the concepts, topics and vocabulary for use in grades 5–8 social studies units on the parliamentary process or for literary arts units.
The City: a financial life skills resource. THE CITY is a free, powerful teacher resource to help young Canadians improve their knowledge of today’s financial universe. The resource is ready to use with lesson plans, overheads, income, expense and budget handouts, and a variety of worksheets. Understanding basic concepts such as budgeting and savings, credit and debt, and financial planning will arm students with the tools they need to navigate the financial realities of adulthood.

Bird Studies Canada is a not-for-profit organization built on the enthusiastic contributions of thousands of volunteer Citizen Scientists. Data from Bird Studies Canada's volunteer surveys and targeted research projects are used to identify significant population changes and help direct conservation planning.
