My boy is game maker and a helpful spirit. :) I have a game that I play on my phone that I totally enjoy. The lad KNOWS I love this game and so he got to thinking, I wonder if I can make this game in real life for mom... and so today he got out the felt pieces and set to work. He came up with the design and then said MOM.. how do I put it together.
We went with needle and thread. He's got the sewing part down well (he's using an overcast stitch as it's easiest for him to do at this point). I just need to help him thread the needle and knot the thread. When he's done I finish it off for him as well, but all the grunt work he does himself.
He's doing an excellent job. :)

The purple cut out is the fellow he's going to work on tomorrow. I love this hands-on learning. He's doing such a good job and it kept him well occupied on a day when I'm taking down the Christmas stuff. He was so busy with it that he didn't even ask to play Skylanders Swap-Force. I LIKE IT! :)
The green guy in the middle was his first attempt, but you can't throw him around or cuddle with him. Felt on the other hand loves to be cuddled with. :) And now I'll have some bed time friends when this project is all said and down. AND a fun game to play with the lad. It's all good eh? :)
