I watched this movie this afternoon. It's a decent show that shows the joys and the struggles of living with a person with Alzheimer's. I don't know that I would pay to see it in the theatre, but for viewing at home or at a private venue with others, I would not be disappointed. They did an excellent job of providing balance, they showed the good things.. like really does it matter if Glen wants to play a song twice? Does it matter if he doesn't always remember things? They also talked about the hard things...like getting fixated on something so much so he could harm himself, and getting confused about door bells and elevator buttons, struggles with anger and confusion. Through it all though, you see the love that is shown to Glen by his wife and family, and the love he shows back to them. Humour is evident throughout.
This movie mde me more aware of the struggles people face everyday with loved ones failing in their memory and capabilities. It's a hard road.
